I remember being so small and my mom leading me around on our huge palomino, Ralphy.
When was the first time you got bucked off?
The first time I can remember was when I was probably 8 and I was riding my cousin’s pony at a junior Rodeo. She bucked me off, I broke my wrist, and had to rope the dummy left-handed.
If you weren’t a horse trainer, what would you be?
I love everything about horses, so if I didn’t do what I am now I would still be involved with them somehow. I’ve always thought it would be cool to work on a racetrack, or maybe something with selling equine pharmaceuticals.

I always wanted to be a pediatrician.
